The ConsultResearch companies, Delaware corporations based in South Florida, provided research and consulting services to high-tech businesses for 22 years until the last one closed in 2021. Peripheral activities included Internet services, export of high-technology gear to overseas clients, and design and construction of safe rooms in residences.

The firms were founded and headed by Ernie Martin, who has a Master's degree in Engineering from Caltech and spent 30 years in engineering & executive positions with satellite & aviation firms (see Résumé). He has consulted for GE, been an adviser to the U.S. State Department, and been widely quoted in the press, including 2 articles in London's Financial Times.
